Gelix Airlines will award a special prize to the winner of the journalists' competition
In late September, Perm journalists will gather for the 16th regional festival of television and radio companies from small towns in the Perm Krai. The organizers of the event, which is held with the support of the Perm Krai Governor's administration and the regional journalists' union, have set highly ambitious goals. These include enhancing the region's unified information space, strengthening creative ties between participants, and fostering the professional growth of journalists.

Participants can look forward to master classes from speakers based in Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Omsk, Perm, and Berezniki, as well as opportunities for professional exchange. This year, journalists will have the chance to participate in a special nominations contest and receive prizes from partners. One such partner is the airline "Helix," the oldest carrier in the Urals operating domestic aircraft. Today, Helix's fleet consists of Mi-8 helicopters of various modifications and Il-76 transport aircraft. The airline invites journalists to tell a story about the development of aviation in the Perm Krai, focusing on the people, stories, and dates significant to Perm's skies. The winner will receive a special prize from the aviators.

Gelix Prepares Young Professionals for the Aviation Industry from School Age
At a recent roundtable held as part of the "Education and Career" exhibition, Helix shared its experience in attracting school students to aviation professions. Three years ago, Helix launched the "Helix-Class" project in collaboration with the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Center for Projects 'Peremenim'". The project helps students in grades 6–8 not only learn about aviation-related enterprises but also gain practical experience through tours, career orientation workshops, and master classes. Participants discover a wide range of professions connected to aviation, broadening their understanding of future career opportunities.

"The 'Helix-Class' project helps young people see themselves as engineers, air traffic controllers, aircraft mechanics, and other specialists essential to aviation. From the very beginning, our goal was not just to talk about our work, but to demonstrate how interesting and diverse it is," said Vadim Baldin, Director of Helix. To date, over 600 school students from Perm and the Perm Municipal District have joined the project.
