"Gelix Airlines" is one of the first Russian air carriers to implement sustainable development goals, setting new standards for corporate business responsibility.
One of the first formal steps to cementing its status as a socially responsible company was the signing of the Russian Business Charter in the autumn of 2021. This was preceded by the launch of the career guidance project "Gelix-Class." The project is designed for school students in the Perm Krai and aims to promote professions in demand in the aviation industry among the younger generation. It is currently being implemented in Perm and Ulyanovsk.
As part of the project, participants not only engage in career guidance activities but also complete workshops on first aid, safe behavior in public spaces, create media products, and develop skills for professional championships related to the aviation industry.
Gelix-Class contributes to the development of an educational aviation cluster in the company’s regions of presence. The project has been highly appraised by the Russian business community, as evidenced by the publication of information about Helix-Class on the website of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

Partnerships for the Goals
Gelix Airlines is open to partnering with organizations to develop Russia’s aviation industry. As part of the "Gelix-Class" project, cooperation has been established with the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization for Additional Professional Education "Center for Projects 'Peremenim'", editorial offices of Perm and Ulyanovsk media outlets, educational institutions, and government authorities. In 2021, a cooperation agreement was signed between Gelix Airlines and the Government of the Ulyanovsk Region. In October 2021, the company became a member of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

Gelix Airlines promotes healthy lifestyle values within its team. Employees are encouraged to participate in sports and physical activities at corporate events.
Clean Water and Sanitation
Gelix Airlines operates in full compliance with the requirements for air carriers. All flight crews undergo a medical examination before going on duty. All employees adhere to measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other respiratory diseases.
Decent Work and Economic Growth
Under new management, Gelix Airlines has made significant developmental strides. This includes the resumption of tourist flights in the Western Urals; the acquisition of cargo aircraft; obtaining certificates for the right to perform cargo air transportation; and the purchase of premises at Ulyanovsk Vostochny Airport. Gelix Airlines is constantly recruiting new staff, offering wage levels comparable to the all-Russian average for the aviation industry. All payments are made in full and on time.
Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
The company continuously improves its internal logistics processes using modern equipment and software. Development in its regions of presence is linked to investments in local infrastructure. In Cherdyn, the only heliport in the Perm Krai has been restored and is maintained in operational condition. In Ulyanovsk, a foundry station for Il-76 maintenance has been established.
Sustainable Cities and Communities
By providing stable employment in its cities of operation (Perm, Ulyanovsk, Domodedovo, Surgut), Gelix Airlines contributes to the economic stability of these regions and hires employees from airlines that have ceased operations.

Fostering a corporate culture and a sense of responsibility in the professional activities of its employees is one of the organization’s core principles.
Life on Land
The development of helicopter tourism — one of the most environmentally friendly forms of tourism — is a significant contribution by the airline to the preservation of Russia’s natural diversity. Introducing tourists to the pristine beauty of the Western Urals helps to enhance the environmental culture of Russians and promotes conscious, nature-preserving behavior. Gelix Airlines is committed to protecting Russia’s nature reserves. For instance, crews regularly perform waste removal from the Krasnovishersky Nature Reserve.
Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions
The airline is committed to building long-term, transparent, and mutually beneficial relationships with all partners and contractors. All disputes arising from joint activities and contractual relations are resolved through pre-trial settlement. If an agreement cannot be reached, the airline is prepared to defend its interests and those of its clients in court.
